Mrs. Patricia Ann Woods Cordonier, 76, of Homewood Residence, 12 Boyce Ave.,
died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003, at Greenville Memorial Medical Center.
Mrs. Cordonier was born in Kansas City, Mo., and was the daughter of the
late George and Lena Mae Hoyle Woods.
She was a retired real estate property manager and was a member of St.
Richard's Catholic Church of Borrego Springs, Calif.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Roxanne Cordonier, of
Taylors; a grandson, Scott Endsley, and his wife, Maggie; a granddaughter,
Kimberly Hendricks, and her husband, Shane; a stepgrandson, Ben Wright; a
great-grandson, Spencer Endsley; a brother, Frank Woods, of Orlando, Fla.;
and her beloved dog, Duffy. She was predeceased by a daughter, Judy Endsley.
The Memorial Mass will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church today, Oct.
3, 2003, at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Richard's Catholic Church,
P.O. Box 1128, Borrego Springs, CA, 92004.

WILLIAM JOSEPH EMLING
Feb. 22, 1927-June 7, 2006
William Joseph Emling, 79, of Borrego Springs died June 7. He was born in
Cleveland and was a dispatcher for Leaway Trucking Company. He served in the
Army during World War II. He was a past president of the Lions Club and a
member of VFW Post 3045.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Emling; daughter, Carolyn Manassero
of Sutter Creek; sons, Stephen Emling of Sacramento and Raymond Emling of
Kingston, Wash.; sister, Mary Beaudion of Cleveland; brother, James Emling
of Brunswick, Ohio; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass: 2 p.m. Sept. 30, St. Richard Catholic Church, 611 Church Lane,
Borrego Springs.
Inurnment: St. Richard Cemetery, Borrego Springs.
Arrangements: California Cremation & Burial Chapel.
JOHN E. GROSEKEMPER
July 13, 1928-Jan. 30, 2005
John E. Grosekemper, 76, of La Mesa died Sunday. He was born in Iowa
and was an electrician for Copley Press. He served in the Navy and was a
member of the Borrego Springs Rotary Club and the Borrego Water District
board.
Survivors include his daughter, Karen Argent of La Mesa; sons, Tom
Grosekemper of La Mesa and Jeff Grosekemper and Steve Grosekemper of El
Cajon; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. tomorrow, St. Richard's Catholic Church, Country
Club Road, Borrego Springs.
Inurnment: St. Richard's Catholic Cemetery.
Donations: Borrego Springs Children's Center, P.O. Box 1516, Borrego
Springs, CA 92004.
